Nick Findlay grew up in Sydney and has been working in radio since he was 16, moving through various community stations with a solid passion for music. After graduating from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in 2005, Nick started working in the triple j music library as a music researcher. In 2009 he was appointed as the station’s Assistant Music Director, and in 2017 became triple j's Music Director helping to program, curate, and hunt down new music for the station.
Over the past two decades Nick has developed a strong reputation for discovering and promoting the next generation of Australian artists, as well as a helping to shape an inclusive and diverse culture within the local industry.
