The Archie Roach Foundation (ARF) is proud to partner with QMusic and BIGSOUND to continue Uncle Archie Roach’s legacy and showcase artists from the ARF’s acclaimed mentoring program Singing Our Futures. Singing Our Futures is a long term meaningful program which supports emerging First Nations artists to develop their songwriting, recording and live performance careers.
Led by Candice Lorrae from The Merindas, Singing Our Futures has seen emerging performers receive mentoring from some of the country’s most respected First Nations artists including Emma Donovan, Dan Sultan, Emily Wurramurra, Bumpy and Dobby. Not only has this music been captured in the studio, it has been presented live at leading festivals across Australia over the past 18 months.
Join us to celebrate the next generation of Singing Our Futures artists at Yadda Yatta-ba at BIGSOUND.
