Dreaming Loud is Spotify’s program to amplify the perspectives, stories and music of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians.
Spotify’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander project lead, Dr. Alethea Beetson, will present the history of the Dreaming Loud initiative from its early days in 2017, when Spotify launched Blak Australia, a music playlist that spotlighted Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians.
Since then, Spotify’s support of First Nations artists has grown into Dreaming Loud, an initiative with multiple playlists and programs featured on the platform to amplify Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creators.
